Coolant : The Engine's Lifeline
A coolant, often referred to as antiFREEZEe, is a specialized fluid that circulates through your engine to maintain optimal operating temperatures. It's typically composed of ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, water, and various protective additives. Coolants are commonly colored green, blue, or pink.

How Coolant Works: Keeping Your Engine Cool
When your car's engine is running, it generates a significant amount of heat. To prevent overheating and damage, the cooling system continuously circulates coolant through the engine.
The coolant flows through passages in the engine block and cylinder heads, absorbing heat as it passes. This heated fluid is then transported to the radiator, where it is cooled by the airflow passing through the front grille of the car. Once cooled, the fluid returns to the engine to repeat the process.
The water pump plays a crucial role in maintaining the circulation of coolant throughout this system, ensuring that your engine stays at the optimal operating temperature.
