GEAR SPEL GLYCOLUB G5 SYNTH SERIES™ are a range of engineered fluid derived from polyalkyleneglycol (PAG) for applications where the performance requirements are well beyond the capabilities of mineral oils & conventional synthetic fluids. They have very high viscosity indices and being wax-free, they have extremely low pour points. Their coefficients of friction and traction are significantly lower than other oils. This combination of exceptional lubricity characteristics helps deliver lower operating temperatures in a variety of applications.

Fluid Maintenance :

Not miscible with other mineral & conventional synthetic oils & hence must not be used as make-up for systems filled with conventional mineral oils. Compatible with a wide range of seals & elastomers.

They are recommended for the most severe conditions in all types of plain and anti-friction bearings and industrial enclosed gears, compressors, drivers, anti-wear hydraulics, mobile equipment, and pumps. Specific applications include: Severe plastic calendar operations, High temperature paper machine bearings, Industrial enclosed gears – spur, bevel and worm gearing, Reciprocating and rotary air compressors, Also suitable for oil flooded rotary screw compressors compressing natural gas, field gathering gas, CO2 and other process gasses used in the natural gas industry.
